Success Story

SAVE Our Scholarships!

The need for donations is greater than ever!  Due to the pandemic, almost all of our 2020 Fundraisers were cancelled.  Our largest fundraising Event, the "Best of the Mess", for 2021 was also cancelled due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 in January. As the pandemic lingers on, please consider supporting us so we can continue awarding scholarships to students who have already had to endure so much!

The Good News: Due to many generous donations, CPOSF was able to award twenty-five $2000 scholarships and two $5,000 scholarships in 2021. Since our first awards in 1998, the CPOSF has awarded a total of $1,558,000 in scholarships to 825 scholars across all 50 states and to forward deployed families overseas.

Our 2021 selectee for the $5,000 MCPON Crow Memorial scholarship was Hallie McKee from Johnson City, TN.  She is currently attending University of Tennessee Knoxville and majoring in Nursing.

This year's $5,000 MCPON Walker scholarship went to Kyleigh McQueen who hales from Lakeside, CA.  She is continuing her pursuit of Nursing at Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ.

None of this is possible without the generous donations from our "Friends" that participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)!  From the bottom of our hearts, the whole Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund Family says a "Hearty THANK YOU"!!
